Dr. Selmic's educational background is impressive, having completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston University. Prior to that, she pursued Graduate Prosthodontics at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, Faculty of Dentistry. She obtained her initial dental education at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, Faculty of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
As a dedicated professional, Dr. Selmic actively engages in continuing education and professional organizations. She is a member of the Intracoastal Study Club and Spear Study Club, fostering her commitment to staying up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry. Through the study clubs, Dr. Selmic can network with peers, exchange ideas, and gain insights into different treatment approaches and best practices. She has completed The Pankey Institute Continuum and attended numerous courses at The Pankey Institute, a renowned postgraduate dental education center located in Key Biscayne, Florida, United States. The institute was founded by Dr. L.D. Pankey, a prominent figure in the field of dentistry, with the goal of providing comprehensive and advanced dental education to dental professionals. Dr. Selmic completed the prestigious Implantology Continuum at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. Dr. Selmic gained in-depth knowledge and practical experience in various advanced implant dentistry techniques and concepts. Dr. Selmic's clinical experience is extensive and diverse. From 2013 to the present, she has been the owner and general dentist at Dental Las Olas, where she provides comprehensive dental care to her patients. Prior to that, she practiced in Massachusetts for 9 years at Longo Dental Associates in Brookline and Wakefield Dental Center in Wakefield. Throughout her career, Dr. Selmic has been dedicated to education and mentoring. She is licensed to practice dentistry in both Florida and Massachusetts.
